Boron nitride (BN) is a crystal composed of nitrogen atoms and boron atoms. The chemical composition is 43.6% boron and 56.4% nitrogen with four different variants: hexagonal boron nitride (HBN), rhomboid boron nitride (RBN), cubic boron nitride (CBN), ZSBN, and fiber zinc ore boron nitride (WBN).
Boron nitride ceramics are selected for thermal stability, electrical insulation, chemical resistance and machinability. Heeger Materials supplies BN plates, rods, tubes, crucibles, nozzles, insulators and custom components for vacuum, furnace, semiconductor and high-temperature applications.

The hexagonal boron nitride is a white crystal, with a melting point of nearly 3000 ℃, high-temperature resistance, extremely stable chemical performance, strong acid corrosion resistance, and a very high electric insulation performance.
BN/TiB2 composite ceramics (BN-T) are conductive boron nitride ceramic components engineered for high-temperature vacuum, evaporation and optical-coating equipment. Custom crucibles, evaporation boats, plates, rods and machined parts are available to drawing.
