Magnesium Oxide Cupel is crafted from high-quality raw materials and a proprietary formula, comprising up to 96% magnesium oxide and 4% specialized fluxing agents. Compared to regular bone ash cupels, they can absorb more lead oxide. As a result, our cupels exhibit strong mechanical strength and perfect uniformity in quality.
During the fire assay and cupellation processes, our magnesium oxide cupels will not cause lead splashing. They can quickly absorb large amounts of lead oxide, leaving behind high-purity gold and silver alloy grains within the cupels. They do not crack or suffer pitting at high temperatures, and they are not affected by weather, preventing freezing tendencies. After the cupellation process, the gold and silver alloy grains are easily removed from the cupels.
