Gallium Bromide (GaBr3) is stable at room temperature and exists mainly as a dimer that reacts violently with water to form hydrobromide acid and gallium hydroxide. It is a member of the gallium halide. It is similar to gallium chloride (GaCl3) and gallium iodide (GaI3) in preparation and uses, but not gallium fluoride (GaF3).
