  • Used as a raw material for molten salt electrolysis in metallic lithium production.
  • Used as the raw material for an air conditioning desiccant, insecticide, synthetic fiber, lithium battery, solar cell component, bleaching agent, metal alloy flux, and special cement.
  • Used to produce lithium-manganese battery electrolytes and pharmaceutical intermediates.
  • Used as a catalyst for polyphenylene sulfide.
