The Aluminum Nitride (AlN) ceramic crucible has excellent electrical insulation and resistivity, ideal for thermal management and electrical applications. It withstands up to 1300°C in air before oxidation starts at 700°C. In a vacuum, AlN decomposes at 1800°C and melts at 2200°C in an inert atmosphere. Typical operating temperatures are 800°C in air, 1700°C in a vacuum, and 2100°C in an inert atmosphere.
