More info

Holmium Evaporation Material is a soft, malleable rare earth element with excellent corrosion resistance and stability in dry air at standard temperature and pressure, though it readily oxidizes in moist air. It possesses the highest magnetic moment of any naturally occurring element and forms highly magnetic compounds when alloyed with yttrium. Under normal conditions, Holmium is paramagnetic. Heeger Materials (HM) provides this material as part of a wide selection of evaporation products, including pure elements, compounds, alloys, ceramics, intermetallics, and mixtures, ideal for thermal evaporation and deposition processes in R&D applications.
