Iridium Crucible is produced using high-purity iridium with a content of 99.95% or above. Known for its ability to withstand prolonged use at extremely high temperatures (2100–2200°C), it is essential in growing refractory oxide crystals and is also used as a container material for radioactive heat sources. Thanks to its excellent oxidation resistance and thermoelectric properties at high temperatures, it supports applications such as Ir/Ir-Rh thermocouples—the only noble metal thermocouples capable of measuring temperatures up to 2100°C in air.
