Macor Plate is a high-performance glass-ceramic with excellent insulation, chemical durability, and thermal stability from -270°C to +800°C. Its microcrystalline structure with embedded mica enhances thermal shock resistance and prevents crack propagation. With low thermal expansion and zero porosity, Macor offers stable, precise performance in vacuum and high-temperature environments. It can be machined to tight tolerances using standard metal tools, without the need for molds or sintering. This makes it especially suitable for aerospace, medical, electronic, and scientific applications requiring custom-shaped, thermally stable components.
