Macor Rod offers high compressive strength, excellent insulation, and thermal stability up to 1000°C (non-load-bearing). Unlike plastics that lose rigidity above 150°C, Macor stays dimensionally stable without deformation. It can be machined to tight tolerances (up to 0.0005 in) using standard metal tools, with no sintering or post-firing required. Its zero porosity and radiation resistance make it ideal for aerospace, vacuum, and electrical systems.
