New product
Dysprosium Nitride (DyN) is a gray powder. It is chemically reactive, stable at room temperature in N2/Ar environment, and easily oxidized in air. High humidity and humid air will cause DyN to hydrolyze to produce Dy(OH)3 and ammonia gas. The purity and particle size can be tailored according to specific requirements.

DyO and graphite powder were mixed and well-grounded in an agate mortar. The mixture was then compressed into a disk with a diameter of 4.4 mm, a thickness of 1.6 mm, and a mass of 80 mg. The discs were placed in a molybdenum disk in an electric furnace equipped with a tungsten mesh heater and degassed at 700 k under a vacuum of 1310 pa. For samples with C/Dy greater than 1.5, dysprosium nitride powder was obtained by carbothermal reduction in a stream of pure N gas at 1990-2095 K at a rate of 1 L/min.

Dysprosium Nitride (DyN) Powder should be kept sealed and stored in a dry and cool place, and make sure the workroom is well-ventilated or exhausted. The vacuum packing is 1kg/bag, 25kg/drum, or as required.
