Soluble in dilute and concentrated nitric acid, concentrated and 1:1 hydrochloric acid solution, 1:1 sulfuric and chloric acid.
Reacting with boiling water.
High hardness, refractory, good corrosion resistance.
Harder than Fe2B, but more brittle.
