Pyrolytic Boron Nitride (PBN) is an advanced ceramic with up to 99.999% purity and high density, produced via Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) using ammonia and Boron halide in high-temperature, high-vacuum conditions (NH3 + BX3 = BN + 3HX).
