Potassium Titanyl Arsenate (KTA) Crystal offers higher nonlinear and electro-optic coefficients compared to KTP, with reduced absorption in the 2.0-5.0 μm range. It features low dielectric constants, low loss tangents, and strong resistance to high-intensity laser radiation. KTA is widely used for second-harmonic generation (SHG), sum and difference frequency generation (SFG/DFG), optical parametric oscillation (OPO), and electro-optic modulation. KTA-based OPO devices provide tunable laser sources with energy conversion efficiencies of over 50%. Heeger Materials (HM) provides high-quality KTA crystals for advanced laser and electro-optic applications.
