Production process

Purification of elemental copper and selenium. The production process includes anode slime enrichment, electrolysis, vacuum distillation, hydrodeoxygenation, zone smelting, and vacuum smelting to synthesize binary alloys.

Black cubic crystals. The relative density is 6.749. The melting point is 1113°C. It is obtained by heating a stoichiometric mixture of copper and selenium in a vacuum quartz-sealed tube or by reducing copper salt and selenite with ammonia solution by hydrazine hydrate. Used as a semiconductor.

Chemical purity

  • High-purity cuprous selenide-05 has a purity of over 99.999%, and the total impurity content of silver, aluminum, arsenic, gold, cadmium, chromium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, nickel, lead, tin, and zinc is less than 10ppm;
  • Ultra-pure cuprous selenide-06 has a purity of over 99.9999%, and the total impurity content of silver, aluminum, arsenic, gold, cadmium, chromium, copper, iron, magnesium, nickel, lead, and zinc is less than 1ppm.
