Boron Nitride, including hexagonal boron nitride (HBN) and hot-pressed boron nitride, are excellent self-lubricating ceramic capable of withstanding high temperatures and maintaining lubrication in high vacuum environments. HBN shares mechanical properties with graphite but offers superior electrical resistance. Heeger Materials' Boron Nitride Plates and Sheets are crafted from hot-pressed boron nitride blanks.
