Boron Nitride (BN), including Hexagonal Boron Nitride (H-BN) and hot-pressed boron nitride, are robust self-lubricating ceramics, that endure high temperatures and maintain lubrication in high vacuum. HM's Boron Nitride rods are made from hot-pressed blanks. H-BN mimics graphite mechanically but excels in electrical resistance, which is ideal for applications where graphite conductivity is an issue.
