Boron Nitride (BN) gaskets and seals are made from high-temperature-formed 99% pure composite boron nitride materials, withstanding temperatures up to 1900°C. Renowned for their excellent thermal and electrical insulation properties, they are designed to seal and isolate environments with high temperatures or vacuums.
Hexagonal boron nitride (HBN) resembles graphite and is used as a lubricant and cosmetic additive. Cubic boron nitride (CBN) is similar to diamond in hardness, while the rare wurtzite BN (WBN) modification is even harder than CBN.
