Nd:Ce:YAG Crystal is a dual-doped crystal formed by adding Ce ions to Nd:YAG, enhancing spectral efficiency by enabling Ce ions to absorb UV photons and transfer energy to Nd3+ ions via non-radiative transitions. This results in increased laser output and minimal thermal distortion compared to pure Nd: YAG. Under the same pumping conditions, Nd:Ce:YAG offers higher laser energy output while maintaining high beam quality. It shares the same excellent properties as Nd:YAG crystals, such as emission wavelength at 1064 nm, high damage threshold, and excellent thermal conductivity.
