More info

V:YAG Crystal is a relatively new saturable wavelength-absorbing material ideal for lasers operating in the 1.06–1.44 μm range, particularly for 1.3 μm Nd-doped lasers. Due to its high ground state and a distinct absorption peak around 1300 nm, V:YAG efficiently supports passive Q-switching in various laser systems. The crystal features outstanding optical, mechanical, and thermal properties, making it suitable for use in Nd:YAG, Nd:YAP, Nd:KGW, Nd:YVO4, and other active media. It is typically grown using the Czochralski method, providing compact, high-performance passive Q-switching lasers. Heeger Materials provides high-quality V: YAG Crystals for advanced laser applications.
