Heeger Materials supplies precision molybdenum squares in pure molybdenum, TZM, and MoLa materials for electronic, semiconductor, thermal-management, vacuum, high-temperature, and custom engineering applications.
Squares can be supplied with controlled thickness, width, length, flatness, parallelism, surface finish, and dimensional tolerances. Current listed dimensions extend from fine-gauge square pieces to sizes up to approximately 200 mm × 200 mm, depending on thickness, material grade, tolerance, and manufacturing route.
Uncoated and coated molybdenum squares are available, including selected Ru, Rh, Ni, Ag, and Au surface coatings according to customer requirements.

ASTM B386/B386M applies to molybdenum and molybdenum-alloy plate, sheet, strip, foil, and ribbon used as applicable source material. Finished square dimensions, machining, flatness, coating, and other component requirements are supplied according to customer specification.

Molybdenum square and molybdenum disc can be plated with nickel, silver, or gold on the surface according to the demand of users, and different plating has different advantages.
To improve the reliability of welding, high-temperature resistance, anti-oxidation, and gold and silver plating, both need a layer of nickel plating as a transition layer.
Molybdenum squares are packed using protective separators, soft supports, and suitable export packaging to reduce movement, edge damage, surface contact, and scratching during transportation.
Precision-ground, polished, plated, or coated squares can be individually protected to minimize surface damage and coating-to-coating contact.
