Coated Molybdenum Squares and Disc

Molybdenum square and molybdenum round can be plated with nickel, silver, or gold on the surface according to the demand of users, and different plating has different advantages.

I. Nickel-plated molybdenum squares

To improve the reliability of welding, high-temperature resistance, anti-oxidation, and gold and silver plating, both need a layer of nickel plating as a transition layer.

II. Gold-plated molybdenum square

  1. Gold plating has a low contact resistance, good electrical conductivity, ease to weld, corrosion resistance, and a certain degree of wear resistance.
  2. Has high chemical stability, and is only soluble in aqua regia and super acid, and insoluble in common acid.
  3. The gold plating layer has good ductility, easy polishing, high-temperature resistance, and good anti-discoloration performance.

III. Silver-plated molybdenum square

  1. Silver plating is used to prevent corrosion, and increase electrical conductivity, reflectivity, and beauty.
  2. Commonly used in the manufacturing industry of electrical appliances, instruments, meters and lighting appliances, etc.
