Fumed Aluminum Oxide, also called fumed alumina or pyrogenic alumina, is a high-purity material that reduces magnetic contamination and ensures a clean environment for battery-grade applications. Thermal Insulation Materials: Its highly porous structure, high melting point, and ultrafine particles increase the heat resistance rating of the material. It enhances overall strength with minimal addition due to its high specific surface area.
Melt-Blown Electret Masterbatch: The inherent positive charge of fumed alumina enhances the charge retention and stability of the electret masterbatch, ensuring superior melt-blown fabric quality and improving the filtration efficiency of face masks.
Lithium-Ion Batteries: Forms a dense protective coating on cathode materials to improve capacity retention and cycle life; increases separator porosity while maintaining thermal stability; and enhances electrolyte absorption, wettability, and ionic conductivity for superior cycling performance and safety.
