Boron nitride powder is a complicated boron nitride ceramic material available in solid and powder form. BN powder has high heat capacity, outstanding thermal conductivity, easy machinability, lubricity, low dielectric constant, and superior dielectric strength. These properties make boron nitride powder a very outstanding ceramic material and may be utilized in hot environments.

BN is also mentioned as white graphite. Boron nitride powder is a non-abrasive, white powder with a hexagonal platy crystal structure almost like graphite, but with a way higher oxidation resistance at 800ºC. Boron nitride ceramic powder has high thermal conductivity, low coefficient of friction, high dielectric constant, and is chemically inert. thanks to those unique properties, it's utilized in a broad range of applications starting from electronics, aerospace, oil and gas, ceramic manufacturing, and cosmetics.
