The Aluminum Nitride (AlN) ceramic ring offers superior electrical insulation and resistivity, perfect for thermal management and electrical uses. It remains stable up to 1300°C in air, starting oxidation at 700°C. In a vacuum, it decomposes at 1800°C, and it melts at 2200°C in an inert atmosphere. Usual operating temperatures are 800°C in air, 1700°C in vacuum, and 2100°C in inert atmospheres.
